Looking for an amazing place to work? Check out what our employees have to say…

One of our Primary teachers, Mrs. Francis, shares her heart and passion for Christian Education.

"Having known Kim Phillips in a Christian school setting for many years, I knew without a doubt that her genuine and unwavering faith in God was what motivated her to step out of the boat and follow His plan for a new Christian school in St. Thomas. I learned long ago that when you see God at work, you should jump in and join the work - and I am so glad I did! There have been countless obstacles from the beginning, but we have seen them fall like dominoes, miracle after miracle. This is no cookie cutter school. Just as Jesus sought out individuals, we recognize that every student is unique and we strive to meet their individual needs as best we can. I love that we are encouraged to try new things instead of being held to the way things have always been done. I love every member of our staff with their unique personalities, gifts, and love for God and children. At King's Academy, everyone (parents, teachers, E.A.s, and volunteers) recognizes that God has a plan for this school, and we are working together to best serve our students."

Our Primary teacher: Mrs. Hooker!

“A few weeks into my new journey of teaching at King’s Academy, Kim mentioned the phrase “exceedingly abundantly.” God had given the same verse to her that He had given to me. That scripture quickly became our school verse.

Only God in His sovereignty and wisdom, and His exceeding abundant ways, could have orchestrated my journey with Ephesians 3:20-21 and prepared Kim’s heart to have that verse be the testimony and proclamation of our school.

I’ve experienced God’s “exceedingly abundantly” in my own life and I’ve witnessed God work “exceedingly abundantly” at King’s Academy over and over (and over) again.”

Mr. Mansell, Volunteer and former Bible Teacher.

Question: What makes King's Academy great?
Mr. Mansell: The size of the school is what makes the difference. We have the opportunity to interact with the students; especially during times of prayer.

Question: What made you decide to teach at Kings?
Mr. Mansell: I have taught long enough (50yr+) to see the goodness and faithfulness of God. To teach God's Word and see how each student wrestles with it is a challenge and a HUGE BLESSING.

Question: What’s has been one of your favorite times at King’s?
Mr. Mansell: Taking the students skating. Everyone was "there for each other." Regardless of age or ability; the students were helping each other. Truly good examples of caring for one another.
